STYLEZ HOME LIVING – WARRANTY POLICY

At Stylez Home Living, we are committed to providing quality furniture and excellent customer service. Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Customers are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Customers are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

1. WARRANTY COVERAGE

The following warranty periods apply from the date of delivery or collection:

• Sofa Frames:
 Structural frame warranty against manufacturing defects – 5 Years

• Recliner Mechanisms & Electrical Components:
 Recliner mechanisms, motors, switches, USB ports and electric components – 2 Years

• Foam & Seating:
 Foam and seat cushioning against abnormal collapse – 2 Years

• Leather & Fabric Coverings:
 Coverings against manufacturing defects only – 1 Year

• Dining Tables, Cabinets & Bedroom Furniture:
 Structural manufacturing defects – 1 Year

• Marble, Stone, Ceramic & Glass:
 Covered for manufacturing defects only upon delivery inspection

2. WHAT IS COVERED

This warranty covers:

• Manufacturing defects
• Structural faults
• Faulty workmanship
• Mechanical or electrical failure under normal residential use
• Defective materials

If a product or component is determined to have a manufacturing defect, Stylez Home Living may, at its discretion:

• Repair the item
• Replace the defective part
• Replace the product
• Provide store credit or refund where appropriate under ACL

3. WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover:

• General wear and tear
• Accidental damage
• Misuse, abuse or improper care
• Damage caused by pets, sharp objects or liquids
• Fading, discoloration or cracking caused by sunlight, heat or moisture
• Pilling, creasing, stretching or softening of fabric/leather through normal use
• Timber movement, grain variation or natural characteristics
• Marble, stone or timber veining variations
• Rust, corrosion or mould caused by environmental conditions
• Improper assembly or modification by third parties
• Commercial use unless agreed in writing
• Floor damage caused by furniture movement
• Minor measurement variances (within industry tolerances)
• Clearance, floor stock or display items sold “as is”

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for:

• Inspecting products upon delivery
• Reporting any visible damage within 48 hours
• Following all care and maintenance instructions
• Using products only for intended residential purposes
• Ensuring adequate access for delivery and future servicing

Failure to properly maintain products may void warranty claims.

5. DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Delivery services do not include:

• Furniture assembly unless specified
• Wall mounting
• Electrical installation
• Removal of old furniture
• Removal of packaging or rubbish unless arranged separately

Customers must ensure safe and suitable access before delivery.

6. WARRANTY CLAIM PROCESS

To make a warranty claim, please contact Stylez Home Living with:

• Original invoice or proof of purchase
• Photos/videos of the issue
• Description of the fault

Our team may arrange inspection, repair or assessment before approving a claim.

Warranty claims must be submitted within the applicable warranty period.

7. IMPORTANT NOTES

• Colour and texture variations between showroom samples and final products may occur.
• Leather, fabric, timber and marble are natural materials and will develop characteristics over time.
• Seat softening and comfort adjustment are considered normal and are not defects.
• Measurements provided are approximate only.

8. AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

This warranty is provided in addition to other rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in this warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
